Q: Can I bring a stroller on my race with me?
A: YES, strollers are welcome on the race course. Just give yourself adequate space!

Q: Can I bring my pet(s) to the event?
A: NO, pets are not allowed on the grounds at Hudson Gardens & Event Center. Visit their website for more information.

Q: Will food/beverages be available for purchase at this event?
A: YES, concessions will be available, as well as many free product samples from our sponsors/vendors.

Q: Can I bring food/beverages to this event?
A: YES. However, alcohol and any glass items will not be permitted. Beer concessions will be available for sale during the event.

Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking will be available at the main entrance and the south entrance to Hudson Gardens & Events Center. Additional parking is available just across Santa Fe Blvd. on the Arapahoe Community College campus.

  5K/ 10K Run/ 5K Walk
This event is held to benefit the Friends of AIRLIFE Organization and takes place  at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center in Littleton, Colorado (Dogs are not allowed in the park). The event honors all of our everyday EMS heroes and commemorates the AIRLIFE helicopter crash and related car accidents that occurred on December 14, 1997, in Littleton. The event begins with the release of white doves and the start of the 5K and 10K Run and 5K Walk through Hudson Gardens, along the South Platte River then on to the Mary Carter Greenway Trail and then completes again in Hudson Gardens.  An awards ceremony will take place at 10:00am and medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall will be given to the top male and female participants in each event: 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run.  Additionally, a 1st place medal will be awarded to the top male and female participants in the EMS and Masters (40+) race categories, respectively.   Kids Fun Run/ Events
Free Kids Fun Run The FREE Kids Fun Run around the Hudson Gardens pond starts at 9:30 a.m. for kids 10 and under.  You can register kids on race morning near the starting line inside Hudson Gardens (registration does not include t-shirt).  Many of the sponsors are planning additional activities especially for kids including: An EMS obstacle challenge, climbing wall, inflatable slide, Professional sports team mascots, smokehouse, face painting, pictures with EMS professionals, and free refreshments.
  Fire/ EMS Vehicle Display

An EMS vehicle display "Muster" will take place throughout the day, featuring vehicles from Fire, Police, and EMS agencies throughout Colorado. Visitors can talk directly with Emergency Medical Services professionals and tour police cars, antique and technologically advanced fire trucks, ambulances, and the AIRLIFE helicopter.

- Well-played, and good luck again this year!
 
The volleyball tournament following the run is limited to 12 teams made up of Air Medical, EMS, Fire, Police and Hospital personel.  Everyone is encouraged to stay and cheer on their favorite teams and spend some time relaxing in the sun and listening to music.

  Proceeds
All Proceeds from the event go to the Friends of AIRLIFE Organization.  The Friends of AIRLIFE Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit group whose donations are used for ongoing care and maintenance of the AIRLIFE Memorial Park near the site of the helicopter crash, EMS education, the Jim Ulrich Silver Falcon EMS Award, and charitable assistance to families of EMS professionals who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
  Directions

The event takes place at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center located at 6115 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton, one-half mile south of Bowles Avenue, and three miles north of Interstate C-470. Located on the west side of Santa Fe Drive, The Gardens are across the street from Arapahoe Community College. Plenty of free parking!  Remember, dogs are not allowed in Hudson Gardens.

  Volunteer Oportunities
As with any big event, volunteers are greatly needed to make everything run smoothly.  Volunteers are needed in several areas.  The following is a list of times and available positions:

All volunteers will receive
a run t-shirt on race day.
